My name is Mr. Golder and I am so excited to be starting our 5th grade adventure together! This will be my second year in the Foxborough district after teaching 5th grade for 4 years in Lexington and 2 years at a charter school in Worcester.
I grew up in Randolph, Massachusetts and graduated Randolph High in 2004. From there I went on to UMass Amherst where I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2008 and then returned, earning my Master's degree in Education in 2010.
I am currently living in Milford with my wife Jaclyn who is a special education teacher in the Ashland district. We have a 2 year old daughter named Riley and a 4 month old son named Evan. In our free time we love going to parks and zoos, reading books and spending time with family. We are huge sports fans and love watching the Pats every Sunday (obviously!) and the Red Sox as often as possible.
I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone and experiencing our first years at Ahern together. I know how scary it can be coming to a new place with so many new faces. However, I believe these are great opportunities for taking on new challenges, meeting new friends and doing things we never thought possible! See you all on September 4th!
